St Mary’s Church, Thornbury, South Gloucestershire

I were lucky to find this wonderful church open when in the area. As at Berkeley, it is next to the castle, but here it is mostly ruined, with part converted into a hotel. The present chancel dates from about 1440 and there are some fascinating memorials and other features.
